Uniting Governments and Organizations for a Global Impact
The Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM for Climate) is a global initiative that aims to address the interconnected challenges of climate change and global hunger. Led by the United States and the United Arab Emirates, with the support of over 140 governments, AIM for Climate seeks to Unite participants to significantly increase investment in and other support for agricultural innovation.
Through a series of Innovation Sprints, AIM for Climate aims to catalyze an increase in aggregate self-financed investment from non-government partners. These investments will support research, development, and deployment of agricultural technologies and practices that can mitigate climate change and increase food security.
The goal of AIM for Climate will be advanced at the UN Food Systems Summit in September 2021 and launched at COP26 in
November 2021. Together with our partners, we seek to build a more sustainable and food-secure future for all.
